Roadsides Unclear

I saw four dead deer on the side of the road. 

Is Hades trying to tell me something?

Loki, maybe?

I’ve read that might be a sign from them.

Though I did see a live one.

She stared back at me as we passed,

a little too close for either of our comfort.

Was she trying to tell me something, too?

If so, they all need to be a bit clearer.

A smack across the head would suffice

or writing on the wall.

My own walls don’t seem to unveil their messages

as easily as I’d hoped.

And we just passed another one.
